   Various Activity Emblems

The Council, Pack or Den may award Scouts emblems for participating or achieving in certain activities. These emblems are not part of the official uniform but can be worn as a temporary insignia or on the patch vest.

The Pack usually gives out patches for participating in Derbies or other major events that the Pack offers.

The Dan Beard Council usually offers patches for participating in Council events such as Cub Winter Day, Scouting for Food and Clothing, Cub Day Camp and the like.

Temporary Insignia Patches/Emblems

Temporary insignia patches are worn in the center of the right pocket.

Only ONE temporary insignia can be worn on the official uniform at a time.

The Scout Store sells inexpensive plastic emblem holders that attach to the right pocket button. This saves sewing such emblems on and taking them off later.

The patch can also be worn on your red patch vest.
